I had a recollection of my visit to the famous Centre Georges Pompidou when I checked out Christopher Kane’s new spring/summer menswear line. The use of his expressive paint brush strokes and floral prints reminded me of Henri Matisse’s exhibit at the avant-garde museum. Kane transformed classic silhouettes with his abstract prints, just as Matisse transformed a simple canvas into surreal works of art.

Dig the chelsea boot with red trim, man they’re kick-ass!

I won’t be able to get my hands on these till next year, but I’m sure i’ll be doing a DIY project to mimic these looks this summer!
